Online therapy is £35 for each email exchange or £90 if you pay for three at a time. I charge £35 per hour for internet relay chat, i.e. MSN messenger. If you decide to opt for online counselling it is important that you read and agree to the contract outlined below. If you are happy with the contract, then please contact me so that we can begin working together. I will need to know more details about the issues you wish to explore in counselling. Should you need further information or discussion about getting started, then please email me with your questions. There is no charge for this.
My Counselling Contract
1. Basic requirements:
Please confirm that you are over 18 years old.
You are not receiving any other therapy.
You are not suicidal at this time.

2. Email Counselling
We can begin by exchanging a minimum of one or a maximum of two emails
per week and then review this after three weeks. I will confirm
that I have received your email and will aim to give you a full response
within 3 days. I would like you to acknowledge receipt of my emails
too.
3. Internet relay

4. Timing of Sessions
You may wish to write and receive emails on set days. Please let
me know which days are best for you if you would like to do this.
5. Confidentiality
Online
I will store our email exchanges on a disc, which will not be accessible
by anybody else. They will be erased on completion of our work together. You
may need to consider if other people have access to your computer how to
keep our counselling confidential.
6. Safety
If I feel that you are at risk or you tell me of someone who is, I may
need to break confidentiality in order to protect you or the third party. I
would discuss this with you so that the best course of action can be
taken. Our counselling may need to be suspended during this time.
7. Supervision
I do see a supervisor to discuss my client work. This is a professional
requirement to keep me safe whilst working with clients. I may discuss
aspects of my work with you with her. Your anonymity is kept at all
times.
Fees for online counselling
£35 per hour for emails.
£35 per hour for real time sessions.
Payments can be sent to me directly by cheque or online through Paypal paypal.com for credit cards using their secure server site or Nochex nochex.co.uk for debit cards such as Switch or Delta which is also through a secure server.
