Sarah Sanders

My core model is Psychosynthesis, one of the transpersonal therapies.  I work in an eclectic way using different therapeutic techniques from various theories, including Gestalt, Transactional Analysis and REBT.  I see clients as the “whole” person, and work holistically to include the mind, body and spirit.

I like to work creatively using art therapy, symbolism and visualisation techniques to help my clients.  I use the most appropriate skill to fit my clients’ needs.  Long and short-term therapy is available.

There are many reasons why people choose online counselling.

  1. Perhaps you are very busy, work long hours, travel away frequently and are unable to commit to regular face-to-face appointments.
  2. You may be housebound for some reason, maybe due to disability or in a situation where you have to care for elderly relatives or young children and are unable to go out for therapy.
  3. You may be hearing impaired and unable to find a counsellor who uses sign language.
  4. Maybe you would prefer not to see a counsellor face-to-face

Online counselling can be appropriate in all of these cases as well as other circumstances.  So, if you are comfortable in communicating by email or Internet relay chat, then you may find this method of communicating very effective.
